UCL Alumni Association Donated Masks

As the outbreak of COVID 19, Hong Kong has also encountered the shortage of medical supplies. University College London (UCL) Hong Kong alumni club and Beijing 51Give Socially Responsible Development Centre (51Give) donated 8,400 pieces of medical surgical masks to the elderly homes and ambulance service in Hong Kong.   51Give assisted with procurement and delivery process.

In mid-March, this batch of medical protective masks were delivered to the elderly homes and ambulance service in Hong Kong as requested by donors:

We would like to thank Mr. Andrew Ng, Chair of UCL Hong Kong Club, Adviser of UCL Club of Beijing, Founder of Solicitor & Notary Public of Andrew W Y Ng & Co. , for contacting elderly homes and ambulance service in Hong Kong. Since the outbreak of COCID 19, Mr. Andrew Ng has been actively helping with domestic and international assistance to Hong Kong. We are deeply moved by Mr. Andrew Ng's socially responsible and compassionate heart.


UCL Hong Kong Club is the Hong Kong alumni chapter of University College London (UCL). Founded in the 1970's it has about 5,000 members and is involved in recruiting, mentoring, student and alumni activities, fundraising, sponsoring UCL projects and through its scholarship foundation awards scholarships and prizes to local students to study at UCL.
